If you want to change your Sims 4 experience but only from a visual standpoint, you definitely need to give these impressive mods a try! There's so much variety out there that it's almost impossible to narrow it down, but this list covers the basics. There are custom versions of clothes, make-up, accessories, and pretty much anything that your heart could ever desire! However I realised I only wanted the Knight skin so I deleted the other skins and kept the Knight Skin.Though it's more common to hear them referred to as custom content if they don't actually modify the way that the game functions, mods have been a key part of every generation of The Sims series, including The Sims 3.
There was a point where I had OTHER skins in the skin details section, this default skin and another default skin installed and ONLY THEN did the Knight Skin work properly. I have tried deleting the skin and re-downloading it back in. 1 shows my mods folder where I have highlighted the Madmono Knight Default skin. 1 image shows that I have no other skins downloaded, I only have freckles cc and some weird eye cc (which I cant find to delete, it irritates me) 3 of these images show the skin not appearing for each gender and a child but they're supposed to I have used other skins in the past and they have all worked perfectly fine! Like stated above this is the ONLY skin I am trying to use, all other skins have been deleted. The skin I am trying to use is Madmono's Knight Default Skin: I have not yet tried testing this on a new save file but I have looked on CAS on other sims in the neightbour hood and none of them get the option for the skin.
This has been happening ever since I installed the Default skin CC I have plenty of other mods and CC installed (some even compressed using S4PE, all this CC functions perfectly fine), but only ONE skin CC which is the current one which wont work. I have all packs except for kids room, spooky stuff, backyard and bowling night. My Game is patched to the latest version I would of posted on the actual sims 4 forum website but I'm not allowed to make a new post due to only being a new member there so I've moved over to here in search for answers.
